Marianela Jacob, MSN, APRN-Rx, FNP-BC, RN Director and Instructor
Marianela R. Jacob is employed at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children as an obstetrics and gynecology nurse. Marianela received her BS in Nursing from Far Eastern University in the Philippines and began work in Chicago, Illinois with a focus in geriatrics at a long term care facility. After moving to Hawaii, Marianela also worked at Wahiawa General Hospital as an OB nurse and obtained her Master's degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix. Marianela has worked as a clinical facilitator for the University of Hawaii at Manoa, School of Nursing. Marianela has also worked as an instructor for the Adult Residential Care Home Operator Course at Leeward Community College.
Marianela pursued her post-masters certificate in Advanced Practice Nursing from Hawaii Pacific University. Marianela is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
She is currently a clinical facilitator for Hawaii Pacific University, Member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and President of the Philippine Nurses Association of Hawaii.
Marianela has been employed as a registered nurse for almost 35 years.
Jose G. Jacob, MSN-ED, RN Instructor and Assistant Director
Jose Guadalupe Jacob received his Bachelor of Science in Commerce (Major in Management) from San Sebastian College-Recoletos in the Philippines. He finished his Associate in Nursing degree in Chicago, Illinois and began working as a medical surgical nurse and as an operating room nurse. Jose is currently employed at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children as an operating room nurse. Jose obtained his Master's degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix with a specialization in Health Care Education.
Jose has been a member of the Philippine Nurses Assocition of American since its induction in 2001, and has served as President of the organization from 2008 to 2010.
Natalie Jacob, BSN, RN CPR/First Aid Instructor and Simulation Lab Specialist
Natalie Jacob received her BS in Nursing from University of Hawaii at Manoa, School of Nursing. She has worked as a clinical facilitator for Healthcare School of Hawaii from 2009 to 2011, and is currently the classroom CPR and First Aid Instructor.
Natalie is also currently employed at The Queen's Medical Center as a Telemetry float nurse.
